StoreMate is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers. All your information stays on your device.
StoreMate ("we", "our", or "the app") is a macOS application developed by DeepyTech that helps developers manage their App Store Connect metadata, translations, and screenshots. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use StoreMate.
Key Principle: StoreMate operates entirely on your local device. We have no servers that collect or store your data. Your information never leaves your Mac unless you explicitly choose to sync with Apple's App Store Connect.
StoreMate does not collect any of the following:
All data you create or import in StoreMate is stored locally on your Mac. Here's how we protect it:
Your App Store Connect API keys and sensitive credentials are stored in macOS Keychain, Apple's built-in secure credential storage system. Keychain uses hardware-level encryption (Secure Enclave on Apple Silicon Macs) and is protected by your macOS login password. Even if someone gains access to your file system, they cannot read your API keys without your system credentials.
Your app metadata, localizations, and preferences are stored using Apple's SwiftData framework in a local database file. This data resides in your app's sandboxed container, isolated from other applications. The database is not encrypted by default, but it is protected by macOS file system permissions and app sandboxing.
StoreMate runs in Apple's App Sandbox, which restricts the app's access to system resources. The app can only access files you explicitly grant permission for, and cannot read data from other applications or system locations without your consent.
Unlike many modern apps, StoreMate does not sync your data to any cloud service we operate. If you use iCloud on your Mac, your local data may be included in your iCloud backup (based on your macOS settings), but this is entirely under Apple's security and your control — not ours.
StoreMate integrates with the following third-party services. When you use these features, your data is transmitted directly to these services (not through our servers):
When you sync metadata or screenshots, StoreMate communicates directly with Apple's App Store Connect API. Your data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted) directly to Apple's servers. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles this data.
If you use the translation feature with Google Translate, your text is sent directly to Google's servers for translation. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details.
If you use AI-powered translation with Gemini, your text is sent directly to Google's AI services. Please review Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini Terms of Service.
StoreMate uses Sign in with Apple for user authentication. When you sign in:
Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for details on Sign in with Apple.
StoreMate offers in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We receive:
We do not receive your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for payment handling details.
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
Because we don't collect your data, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are exercised entirely through your own device:
StoreMate is a professional tool designed for app developers and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
